𝐓𝐈𝐌 𝐖𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓

Timothy "Tim" Wright is one of the main protagonists of Marble Hornets.

He initially appears as one of the missing actors from Alex's student film, Marble Hornets. However, because of a chain of events that occur later in the series, Tim eventually becomes the central point of view. Tim is well-noted for his sideburns, earning him the fan nicknames "Timburns" and "Suttonchops" (after his actor's surname), and for being one of the major driving forces in the series.

At different times, Tim seems to exhibit symptoms of the sickness, as shown by his violent coughing fits. While Tim does smoke, the idea of him suffering from smoker's cough may not be true as the concept of "the sickness" was created from things like Jay, Tim and Brian's coughing and blood-coughing throughout the series.

Tim makes a few cameo appearances in the follow-up series 'Clear Lakes 44'. It is unknown when the footage of him takes place. At one point he gives a box to what appears to be “Birdwatcher”, the main character of that series.

Tim first appears in Entry #9 and is portrayed by Tim Sutton. Tim's full name was revealed via his medical documents (which appear in Entry #60 and #60.5).

𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐗 𝐊𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐄

Alex Kralie is a character in MarbleHornets, originally as the secondary protagonist, before transitioning into the role of the main antagonist. Alex appears in almost all of the entries up to Entry #20, when the series begins to focus on Jay and his investigation. He makes appearances in most entries between #35 and #52, and has appeared occasionally since Entry #52.

Alex was apparently listed as publicly missing by March 2009, roughly two months before MarbleHornets actually begins, and appears on a poster in a gas station. This was seen in Always Watching.

Alex was the director for the student film Marble Hornets. Early on, the series focuses on the tapes that Alex gave Jay and the mental breakdown that occurred during the time he worked on the film, with Jay adding comments and notes about the content. However, even though the videos have shifted to centering on Jay and his dilemma, Alex is still a very prominent character.

He first came into contact with the Operator while filming Marble Hornets. This makes him very paranoid and he begins to film himself at almost all the times, even while he is sleeping. The tapes begin exhibiting strange occurrences including Operator sightings and irritable behavior from Alex which Jay says he has never seen before. Jay suspects he has been messing with the audio in the tapes.

Alex has also been shown to exhibit behavior similar to a proxy, although it is confirmed that he is not one. After his descent into madness, he has repeatedly been linked with the appearance of the Operator, such as calling Jay shortly before the Operator shows up, and remaining inside when the Operator shows up in his house, after telling Amy to jump out of the window .

He died after a long confrontation between Tim and himself; Tim stabbed him in the neck and finished him after he fell to the floor, writhing. With his last words he implored Tim to carry on his mission and to kill everyone connected to the Operator, then kill himself. Tim's stance on this is left ambiguous

𝐉𝐀𝐘 𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊

Jay Merrick was the main protagonist of the MarbleHornets ARG and was the central point of view in MH for the majority of the series until he was fatally wounded via gunshot by Alex during Entry #80. Although he was teleported away by the Operator after being shot, his fate wasn't revealed until his body was discovered by Tim in Entry #83, confirming his death.

Originally brought in as the main cameraman for Marble Hornets, he began to catalog the strange occurrences, notably Alex and his mental breakdown. After watching the tapes that showed the odd events, Jay continued searching for answers, leading to several sights and encounters with an individual known as The Operator and various people caught in its existence.

During Entry #83 Tim's search for Jay finally comes to an end as he encounters Jay, now dead with a bullet wound as he was teleported to various locations. His body was surrounded by pieces of paper with the Operator symbol on them, and a note that read "YOUR FAULT". Assuming Hoodie was responsible, Tim goes after him to get revenge for Jay's murder.

Jay's biggest problem was certainly his impulsivity, which ultimately led to his demise. Whether he was going to Brian's House at night with no defense, attempting to break into Alex's place when he was taking out the trash, wandering into the woods by himself while waiting for Alex, or trying to follow Tim into Benedict Hall, Jay made a large series of irrational decisions with little problem-solving. He, at one point, told Tim that his plan was "Find Tim", then "Find Jessica", with no details on how he precisely wanted to perform these actions and pull this off. Unlike Tim or Alex who often contemplated how to perform specific objectives and what to do, Jay rarely put any forethought into his actions, and tended to react rather than proactively plan. While he escaped death multiple times throughout the series despite this, he ultimately died as a result of his impulsive decisions.
